Regenerative Medicine

Improve Your Overall Health Naturally

What Is Regenerative Medicine?

As we age, the body’s natural healing process diminishes, starting at the cellular level. But thanks to regenerative medicine, a combination of tissue engineering and molecular biology that improves the natural healing process of replacing and regenerating cells, tissues, and organs, we are now able to harness that healing process and use it in patients whose bodies just don’t heal the way they used to.

How Does Regenerative Medicine Work?

Regenerative medicine works at the cellular level. Cells are the building blocks of tissue, and tissues are what makeup organs that help the body function. These specific, specialized groups of cells make support structures, which do more than support the cells. These support structures, called scaffolds, help different kinds of cells communicate with other kinds of cells throughout the body.

The signals scaffolds use to start a series of responses.

Thanks to the improvement in medical technology, we have a better idea of how individual cells reply to these scaffolds’ signals, particularly when it comes to repairing and regenerating tissue.

Many regenerative medicine treatments help create scaffolds that alert the tissue to rebuild and repair itself faster and better than they would be able to do on their own.

What Conditions Does It Treat?

Regenerative medicine can be used in a wide range of different conditions, such as:

  • Pain relief and management

  • Sports injuries

  • Sexual enhancement

  • Aesthetics (i.e., facials)

  • Hair restoration

  • Wound healing

Some forms of regenerative medicine are best used to treat some conditions than others.

Types Of Regenerative Medicine Treatments We Offer

There are many different types of regenerative medicine treatments and therapies available. The following items are the ones we offer at our Port Orange, FL, clinic:

Acoustic Wave Therapy

Acoustic wave therapy is used to treat and relieve pain by using sound waves to break up weak and/or diseased tissues, where they stimulate cells that are responsible for healing bones and connective tissues. This makes it a great option for treating soft tissue, bone, heel, and joint pain. It can restore mobility and a patient’s quality of life.

It also works as an erectile dysfunction treatment and can be used as a means of sexual enhancement. Acoustic wave therapy’s sound waves break up plaque that has built up in the penile arteries while breaking down old blood vessels that will be rebuilt and replaced with newer ones, resulting in better erections.

Celluma Light Therapy

Celluma Light Therapy is an FDA-cleared treatment for wrinkles, acne, and arthritic, muscle, and joint pains. It uses low-level light therapy to increase the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in cells’ mitochondria. ATP is a fuel that keeps all cells running. This increase in ATP triggers a chain of metabolic events, increasing microcirculation and tissue repair and decreasing inflammation and pain.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Our bio-identical hormone replacement therapy uses natural plant-based pellets that release hormones throughout the body. When hormone imbalances are the cause of health problems, bio-identical hormone replacement can put these issues to rest.

IV Infusion Therapy

IV infusion therapies can be used to treat very specific issues, from low energy and low libido to weight management and migraines, and more. They can enhance patients’ immune systems, making recovery from illnesses, pain, and injuries a faster, better experience.

P-Shot and O-Shot

The P-Shot and O-Shot are sexual enhancement therapies that involve platelet-rich plasma, which is derived from the patient’s own blood. These injectable treatments rely heavily on platelets, a component of blood that helps clot wounds. Platelet-rich plasma therapies can be used for more than just sexual enhancement, too; they are used in special kinds of facials and to treat sports injuries and arthritis.
