What is stress incontinence?
Stress incontinence is the most common type of urinary incontinence. It refers to urine leakage during exertion or movement (coughing, laughing, sneezing jumping, etc.) The main cause of stress incontinence is vaginal childbirth or menopause. Stress incontinence occurs when the tissues that support the bladder are stretched or weakened, allowing the bladder to exert pressure downward on the sphincter muscles that keep the urethra shut. This prevents the muscles from closing as tightly as they need to for urinary retention during physical stress.
Stress incontinence can be improved by strengthening the tissues and muscles that support the bladder. What is urge incontinence?

Who isn't a good candidate for Esmella?
The Emsella treatment uses HIFEM technology (High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Stimulation), and because of this there are certain patient conditions we recommend against treating. If you have a pace maker, a drug pump or a neurostimulator implanted we recommend against treating with Emsella. Also if you have any metal implants near the pelvic area (including metal hip replacements and lumbar spine screws) we may recommend against treating. When will I see results?
As with any medical treatment, results may vary.* Some patients report an improvement in bladder control after one treatment with Emsella at Vital Rejuvenation. However, for most patients, the average treatment plan includes 6 treatments in total, with two sessions held weekly, for 3 weeks. Some patients report desired results toward the end of their 6 sessions, others report results a few weeks after the end of treatment. What causes incontinence & bladder leakage?
For women, the most common causes of bladder leakage include vaginal childbirth, body aging, and menopause. For men, incontinence can be brought on by medical conditions like an enlarged prostate, diabetes, and Parkinson’s disease. It can be common after some types of prostate surgery, too
When you urinate, contracting muscles force urine out of the bladder and down into the urethra. Simultaneously, sphincter muscles around the urethra relax to release the urine out of the body. How does Esmella at Vital Rejuvenation work?

How long/how many sessions?
